Current Jobs and some tips for Springtime!
At present, we at BJG Property Services are landscaping a local garden in Daisy Hill with new walls, paving a large patio and then replacing the existing lawn with new turf. Even though the weather is harsh this is a great time to do work on your property due to tradesmen being quiet and would negotiate with labour costs for any project you may need doing, its always good to save money! - Due to the snow and frost, lawns are neglected this time of the year and you should not be walking on them, this will damage the root growth. For the new season starting at easter time you should put a spring feed fertiliser on the lawn to help boost the lawn growth and then be looking at doing the first cut of the season. Make sure the lawn is dry and clear of winter waste from trees and shrubs before cutting it. The winter has been harsh and spring bulbs are just starting to show, won't be long before the daffodils are out and hopefully warm weather to follow!

Welcome
Thanks for looking at our Blog - this is where we intend to keep our visitors up to date with what is happening at BJG Property Services Ltd, Bolton, Lancashire, UK.
We have alot on at present, including private gardens where decking is as popular as ever. We are also on with a couple of school playgrounds which need to be finished before the kids go back in September. Ponds and water features are also in demand this year as people decide to spend money on 'doing up' their houses instead of paying extortionate prices on holidays abroad this year! - We have also laid a fair bit of artificial turf as our clients make time for themselves by making jobs such as mowing the lawn a thing of the past, and why not - it looks fantastic when it replaces the old lawn!

Keep checking back as I will be posting a few gardening and building tips here in the near future. That's all for now.
